Barcelona (Spain) will host the first edition of the international real estate event called THE DISTRICT, a new event focused on real estate investment and global challenges, from October 19-21, 2022. The main activities will take place at Feria de Barcelona (Pavilion 8, Plaza España).
THE DISTRICT will bring together an extensive representation of leading Spanish and international real estate investment managers and real estate finance capital firms interested in investing in transformative real estate projects in different European markets (considering aspects such as ESG criteria, Affordable Housing, Energy Transition, Emission Reduction, Talent Attraction,...) and also investing in real estate companies, particularly PropTech startups.
- THE DISTRICT is organized by NEBEXT, 1st private event organizer in Spain, which develops an annual agenda of more than ten professional events in different economic sectors.
- Mr. Juan Velayos, a proven investor and director of some of the most important companies in the real estate sector in Spain, assumes the presidency of THE DISTRICT.
- Mr. Josep Jorge, managing partner at FOMENTI, is the director of THE DISTRICT WORLD SUMMIT, the Congress of the event and the central activity of THE DISTRICT program. In it, the main international players will give clues and propose solutions to boost the global real estate sector in complex times.
THE DISTRICT will also feature a large and spectacular professional networking and exhibition space, as well as a series of specific activities that will include, among others, the presentation of awards for the most outstanding work and activities of companies and professionals in the real estate sector. There will also be specific presentations of companies, real estate projects and investment projects.
